Timer cannot with Seam function

I would like to use a timer with a Action, but it does not go!!! Perhaps i should start the timer or is the definition of the ActionHandler under Seam adapt timers themselves?

If you look in the seam forums and the seam jira, you'll see that this does not work correctly yet. So please vote fore the jira issue.
