Enable / Disable specific log entry types ?

Greetings. Is it possible to control which log types are actually written to the log table? For example, can I turn off "variable update" log entries and keep all the other log entry types ??

Nope, not as far as I know. You have to override the node types to achieve this. Could be a nice feature though. Please file a jira issue for this against 4.0
