OLE error while opening gpd.xml with jBPM Graphic process de

I am looking for the help from you in opening gpd.xml with jBPM Graphic process designer tool. Currently I am using 'elclipse 3.2' and 'jbpm-starters-kit-3.1'. While opening the gpd.xml, I am getting following message.

OLE Error Opening (Failed to create OLE client.result=-2147220994)

Can you please help me in bringing out of this issue?


I also followed following steps

1. Goto the Windows\Preferences menu...
2. Open General
3. Open Editors
4. Select "File Associations"
5. Select Add...
6. Type processdefinition.xml...then OK
7. Now look in the "Associated Editors" selections, if "Test jBPM Editor" is not in the list then select Add...and add it.
8. Now select "Test jBPM Editor" and hit the Default button.

"Test jBPM Editor" should now be your default editor for processdefinition.xml

But I did not find anything like "Test jBPM Editor" so I tried other options 'jBPM Graphic process designer tool' & "jBPM page flow designer" . But this didn't helped and gave me same issue OLE Error Opening (Failed to create OLE client.result=-2147220994)

I don't recognize the steps you took, but I suspect they are from an old version and are no longer necessary, and may mess up correct registration. Hopefully someone else can be more definitive about this - I'm a relative newbie. Check the version you found this info for.

I strongly suspect that your registration for XML files is messed up in some other way as well. I don't believe it should be using OLE at all for normal invocation of the editor - Eclipse is trying to call some other program via OLE and failing.
