Filter by filterMethod and sortBy cause problem

hello,

I column on dataTable with filtereing method using selectOneMenu value, the columns contains also a sortBy parameter;
so when I try to select value to filter dataTable, the ajax action for sorting dataTable is sent...

sorting works, but, it's difficult to filter dataTable..
