File Upload Component - Determine File Count

Hello,

Is there a way to determine server-side the number of files the user wishes to upload before all of the uploads complete?

Hi,

There is 'maxQuantityCount' attribute in fileUpload that defines number of files to be uploaded before ADD button becomes disabled.

In addition there is 'uploadData' attribute that contains array of UploadItem uploaded. You can get successfully uploaded files count by array.size.

Or you mean something else.

Please explain in details the purpose of new attribute you wish.

We are interested in the count of files selected by the user client side before the upload has begun.

we are discussing this now.. Initially I could tell that RF-3727describes requirements that could be implemented using:

*uploadData as Andrey said.
*onerror handler in order to track erroneous uploads.

I do not reject your offer by my answer, just want to gave you some directions till we discussing this.
