Apparently, to put everything in one xml file *-object.xml is not a good solution, then it seems that the management portlet is not robust enough. -

May I ask why page securities in xml? b/c mgmt portlet can not handle that? if that's the case, then, should all securities (poages, portlet, etc) be included in the xml file? -

it is scheduled for 2.4.
for securty, you can configure it in the managmeent portlet, there is a security tab.
