Problems with UserPortlet

I'm new with JBoss & JPortal, i have problem when i try use the default account in JPortal (admin/admin). I have the next error Login Failed!
Sorry, your username and/or password could not be verified.. i dont know how fix that error i try create a new user and the same error appear again thanks i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

are there any error messages in the logs? Anything related to your database setup? Also, what versions of JBoss Application Server and Portal are you running?
