order of pages in navigation portlet

Can we force the order of the pages displayed in the navigation portlet, instead to be an alphabetical order?

Take a look
PORTAL_HOME\core\src\main\org\jboss\portal\core\portlet\catalog\NavigationPortlet.java

It implements a comparison algorithm you can change (getOrder, and sort)

So i assume it is only possible if you have the sources and build the portal, not in the binary release isn't it?

Allows the portlet to use an xml file for items in the navigation, so you can order at-will.
