JBP-->how to implement a home page

hi all,

i'm trying to implement a home page based on JBP. I need to implement a full width flash object by overriding Region A and Region B or combine both of them

any thoughts?

can i create a region in generic-->index.jsp like this to implement the above functionality?

<p:region regionName='top' regionID='region0'/>

and add this to theme?
