theute Jan 29, 2007 9:56 AM (in response to newto23)You need to find out in your portlet what closed the session. Can't help you much more on this, sorry.

When you were running this app on AS 4.0.3 where you deploying it also as a portlet or as standalone webapp. If as a portlet, on which version of JBoss Portal?

newto23 Jan 29, 2007 10:12 AM (in response to newto23)Hi,
I have deployed the Sun JSF application as a stand alone web application in JBoss AS 4.0.3 SP1, where I dont get this exception.
I get the exception only when I deployed it as a portlet in the JBoss Portal server 2.4.1
Thanks. -

unibrew Jan 29, 2007 10:30 AM (in response to newto23)Your libs are messing up with jsf and el libraries from JBoss Portal deployment or newer jsf libs of tomcat. This is how classloader in JBoss AS works. I can see two sollutions for you. Improve your application to run with any libraries around or set a scoped classloader repository for your package to separate from Portal deployment but it might cause other issues depending on your app.
