Support for Forgotten Username/Password

In Portal 2.6, I did not see support for forgotten usernames/passwords. Can the user portlet be setup to support forgotten usernames and passwords? If it is not supported in Portal 2.6, will this be supported in a future release?

The identity portlets are being totally rewritten, and from i just saw Emanuel did a great job.

The feature you mention are there, it will definitely be part of 2.8.
