Resize portlet using "drag and drop"?

Is this possible to implement?

I would like to be able to resize a portlet, just as you can drag it around freely in the dashboard (by default). It would be something like this:

I too have same question. Is it possible to implement re sizable portlet. Also is it possible to implement a close button along with minimize and maximize buttons. like what you can see in Google ig http://www.google.com/ig
