Updating portal jackrabbit version

When are you going to update the jackrabbit version used by the portal? The newer versions have some nice new features and improvements.
I did this my self and it seemed to be quite easy and worked. I just needed to replace some deprecated method calls etc.

Can you please create a JIRA and submit a patch against:
http://anonsvn.jboss.org/repos/portal/branches/JBoss_Portal_Branch_2_7 please ?

The changes should not be any different than in the version you use. (read: the same patch should apply, so if you prefer you can also send a patch against 2.6.x as well)

If it works and passes the testsuite then we will apply it with pleasure :)

I will try this, but I haven't created patches etc. before so this is a bit new to me. And this change also requires new jars for jackrabbit, don't know how these are handled in patches. Well, I'll try to look into this when I have time.
