rich:dataTable alignment

Is it possible to align a rich:dataTable horizontally as such:

ItemA ItemB ItemC

ItemD ItemE ItemF


instead of


ItemA
ItemB
ItemC
ItemD


I have done this with the <t:dataList befor.

Do you mean something like rich:dataGrid? Or you may freelly use a4j:repeat in order to create free markups.

Well, I think I am just being lazy. I want something like the grid but just wanted to be able to use the 'sort' capability of the dataTable.
