2. Re: How to develop portlet with richfaces?
danielk Sep 12, 2008 7:11 PM (in response to taocore)Thanks for this site, but i found this:
The only component that isn't available is the file upload component. It is scheduled to be available in the next portlet bridge release sometime early September.
Like i also asked in RichFaces-Forum, is it now possible to use <rich:fileUpload /> in JBoss Portal 2.7.x with Portletbridge B4 and Richfaces?
Thanks for an answer,
DanielK
PS: Sorry, for using this thread for this question, but i could not resist after this "article" :) -

wesleyhales Sep 13, 2008 10:47 AM (in response to taocore)There are workarounds (people actually have it working by using some hidden input fields)
See the portlet bridge forum. This is where you should post any questions relating to JSF/Seam/Richfaces usage in JBoss Portal:

felderr Oct 31, 2008 9:11 AM (in response to taocore)Can you make a link to the Richfaces Forum entry. I cannot find any solution to the file upload problem there.
I always get a ClassCastException using rich:fileUpload:
java.lang.ClassCastException: org.jboss.portal.portlet.impl.jsr168.api.PortletSessionImpl
at org.richfaces.renderkit.FileUploadRendererBase.getSessionId(FileUploadRendererBase.java:686)
