JBoss Portal Install on RHEL5 w/ MySQL

My team is at the start of a project where we will be deploying JBoss Portal as a corporate intranet and subsequently an extranet as well. We intend to use Seam as our development platform. I just finished setting up our first production environment. I documented the process I went through so others might benefit from my personal experience.
