Has this been released?

It isn't used by the appserver and it's not in the released state in JIRA.
I do see it in the repository though.

Scott released Beta5 last week, and I am already depending on it in AOP

Yes it was released. I thought Ales was updating trunk to use this. If it has not been done I'll do it.

When I try to update to the 2.0.0.Beta5, there are compile problems with the ServiceMetaDataICF:

Yup, I have the changes ready.
Just need to make sure the tests pass.
Will check if 'test -Dtest=cts -Dnojars=t' goes ok, and commit the changes + change the MC version to beta5.

I'm now getting this - in all 4 configurations:

01:17:20,416 ERROR [Naming] Could not start on port 1099
java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind
 at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketBind(Native Method)

But I _did_ commit my changes anyway. In order for you and Thomas to resolve the bug that Adrian fixed with JBMICROCONT-212 + applying new AOP/CL changes Kabir did.

Going over my changes, they should only affect ProfileService code.
But let me know if something is broken due to MC_beta5 changes. :-(

btw: I was able to run the AS5_trunk w/o any problems yesterday with my MC_beta5 changes already applied.
This bind issue only popped after I updated the trunk today.

Ok, I've moved the redeploy fix to beta6 and scheduled it for next friday
(2nd November) in case there are other fixes that need to go in that release.

beta6 is required to fix JBAS-4900

I also marked beta5 as released in JIRA on October 20th (which is the date
in the repository).
