1. Re: How to get the number of subscribers to a queue
timfox Jan 19, 2007 9:27 AM (in response to alfred.rsa)This is not supported in 1.0.x, however it is supported in 1.2:
<attribute access="read-only" getMethod="getConsumerCount"> <description>The number of consumers on the queue</description> <name>ConsumerCount</name> <type>int</type> </attribute>

alfred.rsa Jan 20, 2007 12:04 AM (in response to alfred.rsa)Thanks Tim
That is very bad news for me. Any idea why it was left out?

3. Re: How to get the number of subscribers to a queue
timfox Jan 20, 2007 7:16 AM (in response to alfred.rsa)Not sure what you mean by "left out".
AFAI remember, it has been scheduled on the 1.2 release for a long time.
You may as well ask why clustering or message bridge was "left out" out of 1.0 too.
If we put everything in the 1.0 release then
a) We would probably never release 1.0 since there would be too much to do
b) We would never have to release another release after that since everything would be in 1.0 :) -
4. Re: How to get the number of subscribers to a queue
timfox Jan 20, 2007 7:17 AM (in response to alfred.rsa)BTW If you want to implement this on 1.0, be my guest.
It would be pretty trivial to do.
Just look how it was done on 1.2 and port it back. I shouldn't take more than 30 mins.
