timfox May 27, 2007 3:35 PM (in response to snecu001)I'm not sure what this question has to do with JBoss Messaging. JBM doesn't use IIOP.

2. Re: JBoss Messaging RMI/IIOP
snecu001 May 29, 2007 8:24 AM (in response to snecu001)What I am trying to do is to have the iiop service run under the messaging configuration. I am looking for advice on how I could do that.
I am posting to this forum because when I tried to drop the iiop-service.xml in the JBOSS_HOME/server/messagin/deploy I get many errors where JBoss is looking for jars in the JBOSS_HOME/client folder. I am getting the iiop-service.xml from under the all configuration and I am wondering if the messaging will not allow this service to run.

3. Re: JBoss Messaging RMI/IIOP
timfox May 29, 2007 10:04 AM (in response to snecu001)JBM has no dependencies on IIOP or vice versa, so getting it to run in a configuration called "messaging" should be no different to getting it to run in any other configuration.

snecu001 May 29, 2007 2:25 PM (in response to snecu001)Will try to follow the all config and move the IIOP service under the messaging configuration.
How can I install messaging under the all configuration that ships with JBoss 4.0.5 ?
I am using JB 4.0.5 and messaging 1.2.0GA -
6. Re: JBoss Messaging RMI/IIOP
timfox May 29, 2007 2:27 PM (in response to snecu001)Current releases of JBM don't work in the all configuration.
The next release, 1.3.0.GA, due out in the next few days will work in the all configuration. -
