Redirecting for exceptions

I wonder is there a way to redirect specific Exceptions to an outcome?
My special case is JAAS access exceptions while using @RolesAllowed in SFSB which works great except when the user has not the proper principle it gives me an error on the webpage. I need to get exception redirected to a specific page.

Please enter this in CVS, I agree that this would be very useful to have as a standard feature (I wondered about it myself).


For now, just write a Seam interceptor.

I did. But still my problem is there. @RolesAllowed throws exceptions that I am not even able to catch them!

Yes, you catch the exception in the interceptor, or, you could catch it in a servlet filter.

Hi,

this thread contains a first cut attempt at writing an Interceptor to catch a specific exception (the rollback and those things are not working correctly, but you will get a good idea anyway;-)
