Seam in production (Tomcat, JSF RI, Hibernate, Tomahawk, Sea

Is anyone actually running Seam in production and would like to share experience?

We are currently starting project and I am looking at combination of JSF 1.2 RI + Facelets + Tomahawk + Seam + Hibernate on Tomcat 5.5.17. I had some challenges to get it working all together but it looks like it works now with some minor problems. Any experience with above listed configuration?

This combination should work fine, after a bit of hacking with configurations.

I remember experiecing the same problem, unfortunatelly don't remember how I got rid of it. I am sorry.

Hi,

I had the same problem. After changing the components.xml file
from

<component name="org.jboss.seam.core.init">
 <property name="myFacesLifecycleBug">true</property>
 <property name="jndiPattern">jboss-seam-registration/#{ejbName}/local</property>
 </component>

 <component class="org.jboss.seam.core.Ejb"
 installed="false"/>

to

<component name="org.jboss.seam.core.init">
 <property name="myFacesLifecycleBug">true</property>
 <property name="jndiPattern">#{ejbName}/local</property>
 </component>

 <component class="org.jboss.seam.core.Ejb"
 installed="true"/>

It works with Tomcat.
