3. Re: Issue/Question using more than 1 ajax event (using a4j:s
josephotoole Oct 23, 2008 10:34 AM (in response to josephotoole)Sorry one further question.
I updated the 2 suport components to use the actionListener attributes. However, when I define the 2 methods they need to take an ActionEvent object as a parameter.
When the user navigates between months or selects a particular date, I need to know the oldDate and the newDate. Hence when I was using the valueChangeListener on the calendar component(without having actionListener specified on the support components) this worked fine because the object passed in the method was of type ValueChangeEvent.
Unfortunately, I cannot cast the ActionEvent to a ValueChangeEvent. Hence using the actionListener attribute in conjunction with the support components I cannot determine the oldDate and the newDate.
Any ideas much appreciated

ilya_shaikovsky Oct 23, 2008 10:51 AM (in response to josephotoole)ok you could use valueChangeListener then as you've used before. But add some params to both supports and calls different methods from listener using param value.
