gavin.king Feb 21, 2007 10:37 AM (in response to robjellinghaus)We will move to the JSF RI as soon as JBoss 4.2 is out (which will embed the RI).

robjellinghaus Feb 27, 2007 1:24 AM (in response to robjellinghaus)Thanks Gavin, that is very good news.
Anyone have an ETA on JBoss 4.2? It looks like it's down to just a dozen or so JIRA issues, mostly about test suite compliance.... -
4. Re: JSF 1.2 in Seam distribution?
robjellinghaus Feb 27, 2007 2:57 AM (in response to robjellinghaus)One more quick question: dare I hope that all the examples will have their tomcat targets updated to use the JSF 1.2 RI also? I'm all tomcat over here....
Thanks,

7. Re: JSF 1.2 in Seam distribution?
robjellinghaus Apr 19, 2007 11:47 PM (in response to robjellinghaus)Funny you should ask, people are popping up on the Ajax4JSF users forum asking about JSF+GWT :-)
Yes, there are some updates:
http://unrealities.com/gwtjsf/20070406/
That's kind of a meaningless (except as a proof of concept) example of a GWT component in a JSF-based Seam app. But at least you can take a look and get the basic idea.
I am about to land the updated (GWT 1.4-preview-compatible) GWTJSF integration in the Ajax4JSF SVN trunk. That should happen tonight. Then I'll get back to work on my GWT-enhanced Seam blogging example.
Meanwhile, if you don't really need JSF integration, Michael Neale of JBoss has landed a Seam-remoting-style GWT integration in the Seam CVS trunk.
Cheers!
