christian.bauer Mar 20, 2007 10:46 PM (in response to thejavafreak)We actually have an issue tracking system :)

2. Re: Documentation issues
thejavafreak Mar 20, 2007 11:38 PM (in response to thejavafreak)I know that. But sometimes I am uncertain to post on JIRA until someone else has confirmed that it is a bug. :(

3. Re: Documentation issues
gavin.king Mar 20, 2007 11:48 PM (in response to thejavafreak)It should be "view". And it should go in JIRA, if its wrong in the docs.

4. Re: Documentation issues
shane.bryzak Mar 21, 2007 3:39 AM (in response to thejavafreak)I've fixed up this particular issue, so don't post it in JIRA now. If you have any other documentation issues, then of course feel free to raise them.

thejavafreak Mar 22, 2007 2:45 AM (in response to thejavafreak)Do we need to document about setting entityManager for Home class? Just to prevent the same topic arise again for new users.

8. Re: Documentation issues
thejavafreak Apr 4, 2007 10:58 PM (in response to thejavafreak)version: Seam 1.2.1.GA
chapter: 12.8.2
page: 138
I think we need to add <s:validate> otherwise the input won't be compared/validated against the captcha image and a <h:commandButton> so new user won't be confused. Just an opinion.<div> <h:graphicImage value="/seam/resource/captcha?#{captcha.id}"/> </div> <h:form> <div class="validationError"><h:message for="verifyCaptcha" /></div> <h:outputLabel for="verifyCaptcha"> <h:outputText value="#{messages['captcha.message']}" /> </h:outputLabel> <h:inputText id="verifyCaptcha" value="#{captcha.response}" required="true"> <s:validate /> </h:inputText> <h:commandButton value="#{messages['register']}" action="#{register.register}"/> </h:form>

10. Re: Documentation issues
matt.drees Apr 5, 2007 2:31 AM (in response to thejavafreak)On the topic of documentation, the last sentence of section 3.7 is
Note that the EntityHome class in the Seam Application Framework provides a great example of this pattern.
Perhaps this was true at one point in time, but EntityHome doesn't use @unwrap now. -
11. Re: Documentation issues
pmuir Apr 5, 2007 4:50 AM (in response to thejavafreak)It's talking about EntityHome being a great example of managing an entity bean instance to allow efficient cluster replication; not the @Unwrap pattern

12. Re: Documentation issues
matt.drees Apr 5, 2007 10:33 AM (in response to thejavafreak)Gotcha. It's a little confusing though, given the example right before it.
-
13. Re: Documentation issues
pmuir Apr 5, 2007 10:37 AM (in response to thejavafreak)I've updated the wording to be less ambiguous :)

<s:commandButton action="#{hotelBooking.bookHotel(hotel)}" value="Book Hotel"/>
should be h:commandButton.
