make single dataTable cell clickable

Hi,

is it possible to make a single table cell in a dataTable clickable without binding or any other bean use ?

i already tried it with a simple command link and a transparent div, that worked already, but my div is not rendered if the the cell is empty... so any css solution would be appreciated too
