size of filter input field on datatable

Is it possible to set the size of the input field of the filter on a datatable?

Use

with this solution, all the filter input fiels are smaller, I only want those smaller who realy need to be smaller.
For exameple age can have the size of 3, city can have the size of 6.

We do not provided such customization to built-in feature. In order to get full control use external filtering.
