Error when running TestNG tests for booking example

I get the following error when trying to run the logintest for the booking example:

javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: ELResolver cannot handle a null base Object with identifier 'user'

seam 1.2.1GA
jboss as 4.0.5GA
