Chapter 8.6. Using Hibernate filters with Seam

mentions how to enable hibernate filters in xml config.

Is there Java way of doing it? I would need many filters and
it is a pain to maintain it in XML.

You can create a subclass of ManagedHibernateSession that programmatically creates whatever set of filters you need.
