1. Re: Strange problem -> blank page with seam app and IE but h
sannegrinovero Jul 28, 2007 1:14 PM (in response to maku01)IMHO you should check the headers of your pages:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" xmlns:s="http://jboss.com/products/seam/taglib" ....
I also use the firefox plugin "webdeveloper" to check server response:
configured language, encoding, content-type, compression.. -
2. Re: Strange problem -> blank page with seam app and IE but h
maku01 Jul 28, 2007 2:07 PM (in response to maku01)The header is always the same.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets" xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html" xmlns:c="http://java.sun.com/jstl/core" xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core" xmlns:a4j="https://ajax4jsf.dev.java.net/ajax" xmlns:s="http://jboss.com/products/seam/taglib"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> ...
I work with a seam-gen app.
As I mentioned, the app works on two other computers with no problems.
Only with my new notebook there are troubles.
