can we use Hibernate and define its query/database update us

hi friends,

Can we define the SQL Statement outside as a XML file. Then we will refer to the SQL Statement by name in the Java code. So that there is no need to change the java compiled code...?

yes we can do that by using Hibernate "Named Queries" Concept.
