1. Re: extendedDataTable column width
ilya_shaikovsky Jan 13, 2009 8:46 AM (in response to vgriffin)http://livedemo.exadel.com/richfaces-demo/richfaces/extendedDataTable.jsf - Even if you remove width declarations for columns - the columns will fit the data.

2. Re: extendedDataTable column width
vgriffin Jan 13, 2009 12:53 PM (in response to vgriffin)The header should be included in the width calculation. The header is truncated in my table, and there's plenty of unused space to the right of the table.
The extendedDataTables I've got all look like the columns are the same width, not scaled to fit the data or the header.
I've tried this with both the 3.2 GA and 3.3.0.CR3.
This is a Seam application. If I use a DataTable, the columns scale. -

vgriffin Jan 13, 2009 2:11 PM (in response to vgriffin)Another thing that may be relevant is that the table is inside a rich:simpleTogglePanel.
The tables use rich:column entries without width specifications. -

I have the same problem. If there's a need, I can post an example here. -
