Request for Production Environment Setting for Jboss AS 4.2.

All,
I am going to launch one website this is database driven, simple registration and search functionality.
Please suggest what should be optimized Jboss AS 4.2.3 configuration
1)DB Connection
2)Min and Max Memory
3)Garbage Collection
4)Caching
5)ETc



Hosting Server Details
Virtual Private Server, 30 GB Disk Space, 400 MB Ram, Linux , My SQL 5.0.67, JDK 1.5, Hibernate 3.0.2, Struts, Apache 2.2

Note: In my development environment I m using Lomboz configured with eclipse, it is giving very frequently perm gen space error.
