bmahussain Jun 3, 2009 8:44 AM (in response to bmahussain)I have config file on my war.Once if it is deployed i will update the config file. when i shutdown the server it deletes tmp/deploy folder.so my updated config file no longer available.
What is the way to keep tmp folder in jboss while restart ?
Any settings can be done to solve the issue in jboss? -

From what i understand, AS-5 recently started temping exploded deployments too http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=151939&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=10 (long thread). That makes things like updating config files in exploded deployment and expecting them to survive a restart, a bit tricky. It would ultimately depend on the user code to correctly update the file in the original deployment and not the temp deployment of the exploded app, to ensure the changes are available after restart.
