AbstractKernelObject weirdness

AbstractKernelObject defines protected Kernel kernel.
AbstractBootstrap extends AbstractKernelObject and defines protected Kernel kernel.
What gives? If these are not the same, maybe not naming them the same would help...

I'll delete the bootstrap one.
Let me just check if it breaks something.
