The Jboss Esb console is throwing nullpointer exception every time i try to transform a csv to xml, I am trying the basic example as in the flash file. I am using JBoss 4.2.0 and Esb 4.2.1 and hsql as db . Is there a fix for it.

Without seeing the problem (try posting some of the stack trace), it's really difficult to tell what the issue is.

I'm sorry to have to say this, but that ESB Console is effectively out of action at the moment. It has been removed from the CP branch and the same should also happen on the trunk (if it already hasn't). It is out of sync with the version of Smooks sitting under it + the maintenance effort involved in making it workable across diff versions of the AS etc just proved to be too high.

All that said, it may come back to life (probably in a different form) on the SOA-Platform, where it will run on less of a moving target (and so be a lot easier to maintain).
