Jboss ESB 4.3 plus Portal 2.6.5sp1

Before i start, thanks for bring us ESB :)

Now, i would like to ask if we can installed ESB 4.3 into Portal 2.6.5SP1?

My work would need both projects.

Portal + ESB is unlikely to work well due to the fact that portal uses (used?) an older version of jBPM than we do. Of course your mileage may vary.

I actually did try and run into jbpm problem with the helloworld ftp "readonly" sample. It gives me this error:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: org.jbpm.JbpmConfiguration.getJobExecutor


I guess it could be due to wat u have mentioned.

I would think ESB + (Portal + Seam) is a good combination.

I don't know the exact details because it was a few months back when someone tried it. But the real solution is to wait for a version of Portal that uses an up-to-date version of jBPM. It's coming.
