1. Re: JBoss ESB sends a JMS message onto a WebSphere MQ queue/
tfennelly May 28, 2009 5:27 AM (in response to sylliu)I think the easiest place to start with JBoss ESB is not WMQ :) Play with the ESB Examples using JBM or JBossMQ. Once you are comfortable with the ESB, then start your wrestling match with the WMQ beast :)
Depending on the version of the ESB you are using, there are some issues while working with WMQ. All known issues have been fixed but none have been released. You can get these from source however. -
2. Re: JBoss ESB sends a JMS message onto a WebSphere MQ queue/
sylliu May 28, 2009 8:53 AM (in response to sylliu)I did get the sample hello_world to work with JBossMQ. I extended the client and made it a remote client that sends a JMS message via the JBossMQ, and it gets dumped out on the JBoss ESB console. My next task is to get that message dumped into a WebSphere MQ queue/topic.
I installed WebSphere MQ client on the JBoss ESB server, but I don't know how to define WebSphere MQ as the foreign server, or foreign JMS resources to the JBossESB?
Can you point me to some documentation, sample code and/or instruction on how to do that?
Many thanks. -

jzeller Jun 8, 2009 9:18 AM (in response to sylliu)Hi,
I face the same problem, and cannot find a way to get JBoss ESB to connect to IBM MQ. My setup is similar to yours. Please let me know if you get a solution. I can get all the quickstarts working if I use the standard JMS queues. We need IBM MQ as it is integral in our environment.

kconner Jun 10, 2009 1:47 PM (in response to sylliu)The MQ integration is currently available in our platform CP branch and will shortly be in trunk.
If you need to try this before we release 4.6 then you can check out the source at the following url
