JBoss Transactions / Standalone / Windows

Has anyone been able to install JBoss Transactions 4.5.0 as a standalone Windows service as described in the Installation Guide? Are there some typical issues with this type of install? The install was not successful when following the instructions. Any point in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

Clarification. After setup, execution of the batch installation scripts InstallRecoveryManagerService-NT.bat and InstallTransactionServerService-NT.bat does not result in the "JBoss Transaction Service <service name> installed." message nor creation of the associated "Arjuna Transaction Service Recovery Manager" or "Arjuna Transaction Service - Transaction Server" Windows services as discussed in the Installation Guide.
