<a4j:keepAlive> in RichFaces 3.3.3

In the latest RichFaces 3.3.3 snapshot, <a4j:keepAlive> doesn't seem to work. Are you guys going to deprecate this component in favor of @ViewScoped, or is this just something you're still working on?

as 3.3.x mainly jsf 1.2 based - no.
