1. Re: New project on JEE6, what RichFaces version should we use?
nbelaevski Dec 21, 2009 5:47 PM (in response to andersaa)Hello,
Right now we are testing 3.3.3.CR1 that will add JSF 2.0 compatibility (several known issues were fixed there). Please check this thread: http://community.jboss.org/thread/145962?tstart=0
Speaking about 4.0.A1, I would notice that it currently includes limited set of components (subset of a4j:*). Here is the information for 4.0.A2: http://community.jboss.org/wiki/RichFaces40ALPHA2ReleasePlan

Just a minor correction, we are testing 3.3.3.BETA1. As Nick points out the support that will be in the 3.3.3 release is going to have some limitations. It is meant to allow running your existing applications on JSF 2.0, but new development will have some limitations.

3. Re: New project on JEE6, what RichFaces version should we use?
jbalunas Dec 21, 2009 8:00 PM (in response to andersaa)I personally think that ALPHA code is typically too early to start with general development. It is a good time to "get your feet wet". Once BETA release start coming out it is much safer to begin development with the intension of upgrading as milestones are released.
This is not just for RichFaces, but in general for any development :-)
