Application deployment on Jboss

I have Jboss 4.2.0 GA installed on our solaris 10 environment.

I deployed one of our application on  Jboss and changed the port number to 8888 at server.xml file under /app/documentum/jboss-4.2.0.GA/jboss-4.2.0.GA/server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer

Now when I trying to browse to the application on the server :

http://localhost:8888/web-console/

It works

but when I try to access from some  other machine on the same network using:

http://servername:8888/web-console/

it says page can not be displayed.

Guys, Could you please help me and let me know If I need to make any other changes to make it work.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi

When you try to access from different machine, you have give your machine IP as below.

http://122.11.111.11:8009/jmx-console

localhost is for work station having no ip.
