rich:extendedDataTable rules attribute

Hello..

I 've been trying to use the rules attribute as:

rules ="cols" or rules="rows" in the rich:extendedDataTable component but i get the same result as the one i get when i leave the default value of the attribute !

Is this the right way that i am using the property? What i want to do is to remove the rules from the table.  Any idea if this is a bug or not?

Table has default CSS classes which defines borders. So use those classes to redefine borders as you need.
