Yes, everything you describe is possible.
you should download WCM 1.2 from
http://forge.ow2.org/project/showfiles.php?group_id=151
WCM is not (yet) integrated in GateIn.
Documentation can be found in the wiki:
http://wiki.exoplatform.com/xwiki/bin/view/WCM/WCM+Manual
A WCM forum is here:

jocsch Oct 6, 2009 3:51 AM (in response to jocsch)Hi Soren,
Yes, everything you describe is possible.
Hm, as long as it is not integrated it is probably not possible to review page creation as this is done by the administrator of the portal currently.
I wonder if this will be possible once the WCM stuff is incorporated into gatein.

sorenschmidt Oct 6, 2009 4:17 AM (in response to jocsch)Hi Markus,
As I said you may download the WCM zip from ow2.org and test it (it's a complete portal, no need to integrate it into GateIn) or wait until WCM is integrated in GateIn.

markygoldstein Jan 14, 2010 3:55 AM (in response to jocsch)I hope that JBoss products will include WCM base functionality and that the installation of WCM and ECM products from 3rd parties will be as easy as installing an App on my iPhone. That is the target. A portal without a WCM part to manage multilingual web content on the pages is not competitive anymore...
