peterj Jan 18, 2010 4:23 PM (in response to rahul_sh)You web app does not contain a <welcome-file> entry, so you will have to provide a more complete URL, probably something like http://localhost:8080/sample/hello -

5. Re: Hi ALL problem facing with JBoss 5.0
peterj Jan 21, 2010 1:46 PM (in response to rahul_sh)Neither of those URLs you mentioned will work because your WAR contains neither an index.html file nor a hello.jsp file. The only thing it contains is a servlet, and accoring to the web.xml, you need to use the path /hello to access the servlet. So go back and try the URL I mentioned.
Based on this question, I assume that you are new to Java EE and to servlets and JSPs. What tutorial or book are you reading to guide you in this?

luv Jan 22, 2010 4:02 AM (in response to peterj)pls check first the port of your server deployment.
check : http://localhost:8080/jmx-console
if fails , I guess it should be 9080 then.
