1. Re: disableing rich:inplaceSelect
jamon Feb 18, 2009 5:44 AM (in response to timbooo)You can use "rendered" attribute, but in this case you just do not see component.

2. Re: disableing rich:inplaceSelect
jamon Feb 18, 2009 5:59 AM (in response to timbooo)also I review this approach: SelectItem object have an disable property, from documentation:
Set the disabled flag for this item, which should modify the rendered output to make this item unavailable for selection by the user if set to true.
and, I set to true this property for all SelectItem objects in my ArrayList (which tied my rich:inplaceSelect). And after this I still view all items in inplaceSelect.
Similar to that, this property of SelectItem just not supported by rich:inplaceSelect. -

abelevich Feb 19, 2009 5:29 AM (in response to timbooo)Hi,
unfortunally both inplaceSelect and inplaceInput doesn't support disable property yet. We have two feature requests in our jira:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-4406
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/RF-4211
