Creating Symolic Link from JMX Service

I would like to create a symbolic link to a folder on a Linux file system. My test cases work outside of JBoss, but trying to execute the code in the JMX service doesn't work even though JBoss is running under the root user. I was wondering if anyone knew a work around to solve the issue?

How exactly are you doing that? Please post any relevant code and any exception stacktrace that you see. Which version of JBoss AS? And please explain more about what you mean by "doesn't work".
