1. Re: Richfaces and "Add Expires headers" with YSlow
nbelaevski Mar 15, 2010 3:42 PM (in response to jadtn)Hello,
You can set expiration time for RichFaces resources via context parameter in web.xml.

jadtn Mar 16, 2010 7:50 AM (in response to nbelaevski)Thanks
But it is a good idea if I set 'infini' to org.ajax4jsf.DEFAULT_EXPIRE ? Or is a risk exist?
The script for a version of richfaces will never change, no? Instead the dowloaded datas depends something?
If I change version of richfaces will there be a problem? ('package' are prefixed with version name like /a4j/s/3_3_3.BEATA1org......)
Adrien<param-name>org.ajax4jsf.DEFAULT_EXPIRE</param-name>
<param-value>3600</param-value></context-param>

nbelaevski Mar 17, 2010 7:14 AM (in response to jadtn)Hi Adrien,
You can set bigger expiration time, e.g. 1 year. New version will change URIs for resources if default settings are used, so that's not a problem.

4. Re: Richfaces and "Add Expires headers" with YSlow
bcn Jun 4, 2012 12:41 PM (in response to nbelaevski)In RichFaces 4.2.2 I have added that context parameter, but don't see any header set. YSlow shows the same result as before.
Should this work in 4.2.2?
Thanks
