    OpenSSH - metrics and connections

I have added multiple machines, and none of them are showing any connections or metrics on ssh..

      any ideas??

      thanks!

          Three things:

          1) without the OpenSSHD plugin, you can't manage the open ssh daemon (i.e. do you have the OpenSSH plugin deployed?)

          2) if you have the plugin deployed, you need to import (i.e. commit to inventory) the OpenSSHD resources that the agent autodiscovered (i.e. did you go to the auto-discovery queue, select the OpenSSHD resource and import it?)

          3) OpenSSHD process/configuration file is protected and only root user can see it - thus, the agent (since its plugin is trying to manage OpenSSHD) needs to be run as root so it has privildges to see the OpenSSHD daemon's config and metrics. (i.e. is the agent running as root, or, at a minimum, running as a user that has priviledges allowing it to see the OpenSSHD daemon's config and metrics?)
