Question about Envers's future

Hi everyone.

I 'd like to get any usefull information about when will there be any possiblity to Envers to audit @CollectionOfElements. I had read the reference guide, and it says that collections of components is not supported yet.

At the moment in our domain model we are using this annotation for complex types like Map<String, AnyObject>.

@CollectionOfElements is supported for most use-cases. Map<String, AnyObject> will work as long as AnyObject is a primitive type (number, string, etc), or an entity. It will not work if it's a hibernate componen (http://docs.jboss.org/hibernate/stable/core/reference/en/html/mapping.html#mapping-declaration-component).

Hey, thanks the answer.

Yeah actually im aware of that support. But in our case AnyObject is an @Embeddable component, not an @Entity.

So my question is when will you guys integrate that kind of support?

Ah . Unfortunately, I honestly don't know when it's going to be implemented, so I'm not able to answer your question.
