I was reading through

And I noticed that

which seems a bit odd to me considering that 1.1 is supposed to have versioning.  are updated docs available yet?

Thanks for catching this.  I've updated the docs in https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/MODE-710 and committed the patch.  I'm not sure if this is worth reissuing the docs for 1.1 or not.  Any suggestions or feedback is are welcome.

Oops, that's definitely an error. Those node types ARE included, so the documentation is in error. Here's the CND file in the tagged code (from which the release artifacts are built) that contains all the node types defined by JCR 1.0:

I'll log an issue to fix the documentation.  Thanks for pointing this out!

Just a note, there's actually quite a few errors related to versioning throughout the document.  Probably more than even I have noticed.

Randall gave the Reference Guide another run-through and caught two more errata.  One was in the testing section and one was in the JCR chapter.  The fixes for both have been committed.
